Our hats off to the new chairman of the BCGOP. With the largest county in WNC Dr. Tim Johnson has contended with bias liberal media (excluding the Mnt. Xpress), the money of MoveOn.org, 2 biased board of elections judges, billboard vandals, and the stupidity of the “it’s all about the power of Taylor” Charles Taylor camp.
We have never seen a Republican activist with as much passion as Johnson. Determined and unafraid to ruffle the players in both parties.
Republicans may have lost this election but we are looking forward to the new strategy of this Republican Chairman.
VOTER UPDATE AS OF 12:48PM IN BUNCOMBE COUNTY | News
The Carolina Stompers have been checking out the lines at the polls in Buncombe County and there are none. The polls opened at 6:30 AM and all reports were that people started coming in around 8:00 AM. We were told that as of 12:00 PM Leicester Elementary has voted over 300 people. The Board of Elections told us that 48% of the registered voters have already voted in early voting. This must account for no lines today at the polls.
We are expecting more voters after people get off work.
Now, what's the feel of the people? Stompers report that in the county areas most people are pulling for McCain. When we polled 20 people at the Leicester Community Center we found that 16 of them voted for McCain. When asked what their party affiliation was they said Democrat.
One Stomper reported that they were standing beside a Republican volunteer having a conversation when a Democrat volunteer went up to a voter and said "Here is a list of nonpartisan judges. Would you please vote for them.". The Republican volunteer immediately said to the voter, "Here is a list of pro-life judges. Would you please vote for them?". The voter gave the Democrats list back to the Democrat and said I'm voting pro life. And thanked the Republican.
In the city, it's a different story. North Asheville was strong in Obama supporters. Black Mountain was as well. Another Stomper reported that the Obama camp has hired people from Georgia to stand at the polls. It was also reported that the Holly Jones camp are strong at the polls handing out Obama stickers, ect.
Both Victory o8 and the BCGOP are slammed with volunteers. Everybody is hot on the phones calling voters.

Obama's Grandmother just happens to die on the eve of the election? Yeah right. Yes, what I am getting ready to say may sound a bit morbid but for those of you that don't play this game get ready for a crash course of marketing in politics.
As you know, the state of Hawaii will not release a state certified copy of Obama's birth certificate . Why? Was the Hillary Clinton camp right about him not being an American Citizen?
Now his grandmother dies in the state of Hawaii. As tragic as that is, I think she died when Obama went to see her last month in September and they have had her on ice ever since. Elections are about persuading people to vote for you. Be it good looks, charm, business skills, leadership, or SYMPATHY, when the election is tight the Obama camp will do anything.
Acorn, throwing press that don't endorse you off the plane, suppressing the press, media bias. I could go on but you get the jist. There are just to many coincidences here to get this man elected. Sympathy seems to be the last.
Obama is a mean yet smooth guy. He talks about his grandparents like they were the best. But yet his aunt lives in the slums and the rest of his family lives on a dirt floor in Kenya.
Personally, I want to see a certified death certificate. Or how about some investigating non biased press on the matter. I just don't buy it!

You emailed us wanting to see what happened at the Board of Elections. Well here it is. Typical biased Buncombe County liberal tactics as usual. But they met their match. Even though they dismissed Obama, we proved our point. We are most proud of Republican Chairman Dr. Tim Johnson. We think you will be to.
