All over Buncombe land the million dollar or the fifteen cent question is, where is the debate? The leader of the Buncombe County GOP and his counterpart were suppose to debate. As of this moment I have not heard either the Golden voices debating the merits of Capitalist versus the Marxist production of no goods. Has this been spiked by a ball and chain or has it run into too many technical difficulties? Now if this was a Coffee, Tea, or a Cappuccino machine we could call in a service tech and repair the product, in this case the truth.
On another front, a local talk show host has challenged Mr Don Yelton to a on air radio debate. As of last Monday, this reporter has been told by a very reliable source that Mr Don Yelton has not been contacted by the local talk show. Is it not interesting that the listenors were led to believe that this exchange of opinions was a matter of fact. Now we know that this month or week or whatever we are dealing with is a rating sweep. This means that this talk show is rated by Armitron. The question is why not debate Mr Yelton on the air and maybe generate enough interest to so that the rating needle would go up instead of going down as it has been for the last few ratings sweeps.
In concluding, a statement must be made that the Conservative viewpoint is always shoved aside, or not heard because of Media distortion.

Are High School Students entitled to Free Speech? | News
Locally, here in Buncombe County, three High School students who were identified as Conservatives, were put down by the Democrat establishment for criticizing a sitting State Representative for going to Hawaii during last winters frozen tundra days. One might add that this was done on tax payers expense. The overwhelming thought process in this matter is are not these students not properly educated in the Moscow party way of blindly following the dictates of the political leaders in our fine county.
My hat if off if I wore one to these three brave students for standing up against the establishment. This is a fine example that should be followed by the adults of every age.
The continuing questions, do these students, who are home born have the right to speak out against politicians that needlessly go on expensive trips at tax payers expense? This was done when we had record heating bills and when the unemployment rate is 10%. The people in this county were struggling just to meet there bills. Property value have plunged, but our taxes remained the same as last year.
Susan Fisher is the State Representative person that went to Hawaii.
She is up for reelection this year and she should be voted out for thumbing her nose at the taxpayers.

Britstol Palin apparently thinks her baby daddy, Levi Johnston, is a big fat liar ... and she's subpoenaing CNN and Playgirl to prove it.
The lawyer for Sarah Palin's kid is scoffing at legal docs filed by Levi's lawyer -- docs claiming Levi made but a pittance over the last few years and should not have to pay $1,688.42 a month in child support - which is what Bristol wants.
Levi says the best he's done in the income department so far is last year -- claiming he made approximately $101,000. Apparently Palin's not buying it, because her lawyer issued subpoenas today to CNN, Playgirl, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Star Magazine, and National Enquirer, asking for hard figures on how much they paid Levi.
And there's what Palin's lawyer believes is a smoking gun. Levi claimed in legal docs that he made no more than $10,000 a year prior to 2009. But in the new docs, Palin's lawyer attached Levi's pay stub from 2008, showing he raked in $18,594.50 from one employer - a construction company in Alaska.

Harwoods brother is the Sheriff of Madison County.
